Benchmarking To Begin With

For each of our services, we need to establish your website's position before we commence. We need to benchmark as many trackable factors as possible for Organic SEO, Maps listings, and Google Ads Reporting.

When we start a campaign, we must establish and agree on a common set of keyword phrases to track over time and monitor progress. We take a snapshot of rankings for the targeted phrases at the start of the campaign, then track them using rank tracking software.

The ranking software is then run monthly to monitor progress. Our experience is that keywords move upward over time, and the time to move them depends on the competitive nature of your niche and your budget.

Local Maps SEO Reporting

Ranking in the local maps is slightly different from organic SEO rankings. In that, on the maps, you can rank far better if you target a niche rather than multiple niches, and we track your rankings differently.

For the map’s rankings, we take the grid positions around your business location and then select your primary niche or services that you want to be found in the maps.

Our map grid rankings are then set to track your rankings weekly and presented to you monthly.

Local Maps SEO Reporting

The KPIs for Google Search Ads differ slightly. Still, our main focus here is to streamline your adverts so they appear above your competitors within the same auction, increasing conversions and ensuring they appear for the correct targeted phrases. And all your campaigns are being run at the agreed budget.

We report monthly on Google Ads.

So, not that you may be wondering how we combine all the information into a single report – Google Data Studios is the answer!

By utilising Google properties, you can combine data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Ads into a 20-page report about your website.
